Got 5 Minutes This Weekend? Check These 5 Spots.
Water damage doesn’t always start with a dramatic burst pipe or a flooded basement. Sometimes it starts with a tiny drip, loose connection or slow leak that goes unnoticed for weeks.
Before you get into your weekend plans, take 5 minutes and give these common trouble spots a quick look:
🔍 1. Under the Kitchen Sink
Look for drips, dampness, warped cabinet bottoms or staining around plumbing connections.
🚽 2. Around Your Toilets
Check around the base for moisture or soft flooring. Give the toilet a gentle check for any unusual movement.
🔥 3. Your Water Heater
Look around the bottom for moisture, rust, corrosion or small puddles that weren’t there before.
🧺 4. Washing Machine Connections
Check the hoses and connections for cracks, bulges, corrosion or slow drips. A failing washer hose can release a LOT of water quickly.
