Happy Memorial Day Weekend! 🇺🇸

In observance of Memorial Day, the FELC Church Office will be closed on Monday, May 25, and will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, at 9 a.m. You can connect with us anytime online at felc.com.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, we also pause to remember and give thanks for those who gave their lives in service to our country. Wishing you a safe and meaningful holiday weekend.

Reminder: The Summer Worship Schedule Starts This Sunday!

Beginning this Sunday, May 24, the Downtown Site moves to one worship service at 9 a.m. for the summer. This service will continue to be streamed on YouTube, with the possibility of some disruptions due to the sound booth being moved to the ground floor.

The summer schedule runs through Labor Day weekend, with the regular two-service schedule returning Sept. 6.

Wednesday Night Worship also returns June 17 at the North Site.

⚠️ Scam Email Alert ⚠️

We have seen an increase in scam emails impersonating First English staff members. Unfortunately, scammers have recently stepped up their tactics by creating email addresses that include the names of our staff members, along with copied email signatures to make messages appear legitimate.

Please remember:
• First English staff will never ask you to purchase gift cards
• We will never ask you to communicate secretly or only through email/text
• Staff already have secure access to the Church Directory
• Official staff emails will always come from an “.com” email address

If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from First English, do not respond or click any links. Instead, report the message as spam/junk/phishing and contact the Church Office if you are unsure whether a message is legitimate.

If you worshipped with us last week at the North Site, you may have noticed a new addition to the chairs and tables.

Thanks to Mark Van Beek, Mike Gadbois, Jeff Picken, and a dedicated group of Faith Formation volunteers, new holders for prayer slips and offering envelopes were designed, 3D printed, and assembled for our worship space.

Each holder also includes a QR code that connects directly to our one-stop worship link: www.felc.com/bio.
We’re grateful for the many people who share their time, talents, and creativity to serve others and strengthen our community.
