Snow is pretty...until it melts. Which means in a few weeks we’ll find out which basements are waterproof…and which ones were just hoping for the best. 😅

Steel beams help stop a wall from further shifting, if installed properly. You can end up paying a lot of money only to be left with this. These were not properly installed and since water control was not completed, the humidity level in the basement was high, causing rust. These beams were also not secured to the footing.

Please make sure to ask questions of whomever you decide to go with. A company that advertises and charges more is not necessarily the sign of good workmanship.

Prices for everyone have increased whether due to inflation or tariffs or both. We strive to provide the best service at a reasonable price.
