The magic of foster shines through again! While a big life change initially left Silas feeling a bit overwhelmed, he has been spending time in a foster home and has come out of his shell!

Silas is a handsome, 5-year-old gentleman who has been waiting patiently in our system since April for his perfect match.

✨ In the evening once the house settles, Silas completely transforms! He becomes the ultimate cuddle bug, confidently seeking out affection and showering his chosen person with love.

✨ Silas is a deeply loyal companion who attaches strongly to "his" person. In his foster home, he formed a massive, special bond with the teenager.

✨ Silas has a history of being an enthusiastic, exuberant wrestler with other cats! He would likely love a home with a confident feline buddy who shares his playful, energetic wrestling style. He is currently coexisting peacefully from afar with a dog in his foster home.

✨ To keep him feeling his absolute best, Silas eats a prescription urinary diet to manage a history of urinary crystals, which is easily maintained.

Adorable senior lady Sadie is looking for a loving retirement home!

Sadie was surrendered to us when her guardian had to make the transition to assisted living.

⭐ 11.5 year old petite shepherd mix (weighs 39lbs).
⭐ Has previously lived with another dog and a cat. Our adoption counselors can provide information on slow introductions to any resident pets.
⭐ Sadie is a sweet and loving girl with a big heart.

Little Man is absolutely blossoming in his foster home, and we are excited to share what we have learned about this senior kitty!

This 12 year old Neutered Male came to FVHA originally as a stray.

🐾 Adapted immediately to the low key dog in the foster's home. Normally the foster will separate new animals for a few days, but Little Man new he was ready to be friends as soon as he got home!

🐾 Actively enjoys pets and snuggles, he will sometimes give a small nip when he is done with affection, making him more suitable for a home with older children.

🐾 He certainly knows what a bed is and is happy to cuddle in bed all night.

🐾 Little man is like a dog and will follow you around the house asking for attention. He is obsessed with neighborhood watch and takes the job very seriously.

Liberty has been adopted!
𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧!

She is seeking a special adopter that has a lifestyle that can accommodate her separation anxiety.

Liberty has been started on anxiety medications to help with her separation related distress, due to her past trauma she cannot be crated without having a panic attack, she also exhibits signs of stress when left home even if not confined.

We know this sweet gal's home is out there, help us find it!

🗽 2 year old spayed female Beagle.
🗽 Has done excellent with other dogs and young children.
🗽 Liberty has warmed up beautifully and gets braver every day. She enjoys companionship and attention from her people.
🗽 Is seeking a home where her family can slowly work through desensitizing her to their absences. She is not a good fit for a family with full time jobs or a active social schedule that pulls them away from the home.
