🧠Executive Functioning Skills are a better predictor of success at school (and long term happiness) than intelligence! It’s a BIG piece of the puzzle. Many students struggle with time management, work completion, project planning, sustaining attention, asking for help, goal directed persistence, etc. How can we help?

We’re currently working with a 4th grader online. In a conversation with her mom about her daughter’s progress, her mom shared something special.

Her daughter recently asked her to read a story with her before bedtime; this is something she’d never asked before.

This conversation was the inspiration for this post. It was one of the first times her daughter had asked to read with her mom! 📚🤗
