A Catholic community to call home. St. Joseph Parish is a Catholic faith community in the heart of downtown Appleton.

Joe's was founded in 1867 in downtown Appleton, WI, and we are a Capuchin parish focused on serving Christ and one another. Active ministry programs to parishioners of all ages enriches our faith lives and empowers us to serve other people, and the greater Appleton / Fox Cities area.

We are excited to introduce our 2026 Youth Mission Trip group! Fifteen participants (eleven youth, four adults) ventured on a two-day trip to Niagara Falls, NY this July to provide support and love to the people living in the community. While there, the group provided a variety of services, including painting, sanding & mudding a house, gardening, working in a clothes closet and food pantry, etc. The group showed Jesus’ love in all the work projects they were involved in and provided immense help to different organizations.

We at St. Joe's are sending prayers to everyone affected by yesterday's storms. We do have power and our building was thankfully undamaged, but we do not have phone or internet access at this time. We will still host Daily Mass today, July 28, tomorrow, July 29, and Thursday, July 30 at 12:05pm.

Please note that we are swapping Mass times with St. Mary's this week Thursday and Friday! St. Joe's will host Daily Mass on Thursday, July 30 in honor of the Feast of Solanus Casey. St. Mary's will host Daily Mass on Friday, July 31.

We are praying that you all stayed safe in the storm that just blew through. The phone lines and internet at St. Joe's are down, so we are not able to receive calls or respond to emails currently. We will let you know when service is restored. Thank you for your understanding!
