🔦 Find adventure UNDERGROUND! 🦇

There’s a whole other world waiting beneath your feet in Chilton! Join a naturalist for a guided adventure through Carolyn’s Caverns at Ledge View Nature Center, a real *wild* cave system where families can climb, explore and even crawl their way through if they’re feeling adventurous!

Along the way, you’ll discover how caves are formed, uncover some of the geological history beneath our corner of Wisconsin and learn about the animals that call caves home.

And yes… crawling is optional. 😉 But come prepared to get a little muddy!

🥾 Closed-toe shoes + long pants & sleeves required
🔦 Bring a flashlight (not your phone!)
🪜 Stairs and ladders are used to enter the caves

Sometimes the best family memories happen when you try something completely different together. Grab the flashlights, wear the clothes you don't mind getting dirty and head underground for an adventure the kids won't soon forget!

We took some time to visit friends in Jefferson and, while we were there, took the kids out to explore megan.shuda in Helenville. 🍎🌻

What a beautiful reminder it was of just how much magic can be packed into a simple day together!

We picked fresh berries, wandered through flowers and apple trees, visited the farm animals, played games and explored everything we could find. But our favorite part? Watching the kids experience it all.

The giggles. The laughter. The excitement over every new discovery. The “come look at this!” moments. ❤️

Our hearts were full.

Somewhere between picking berries, meeting animals and wandering around a farm with nowhere else we needed to be, we were making memories together.

And it definitely got us excited for the fall adventures ahead. 🍂

The best part is, you don’t have to travel far to create days like this with your own family. There are incredible places all across Wisconsin — including so many right here in the Fox Valley and surrounding communities — waiting to be explored.
