This custom cake was created for a second birthday celebration and was such a fun theme to work on. I loved incorporating all the little elements from the song into the
design... from the rainclouds and sunshine to the water
spout and other details wrapping around the cake.

It's a gluten free lemon cake with homemade raspberry filling and a silky vanilla frosting.

If this cake looks familiar 👀 ... it’s because it is! 💕 I had the absolute joy of making a SECOND sweet gender reveal cake for this lovely couple so they could have a private, special moment to find out what they’re having 🥹✨

I actually made this cake back in December, but I’ve been keeping it under wraps until they were ready to share their big news. Now that it’s official, I can finally post it! It’s always such an honor to be part of moments like these, and I can't thank them enough for letting me be involved with something so special! 🩷💙👶🤰

As we settle into 2026, I need to share an important update.

As many of you know, baking, creating, and sharing that joy with others means so much to me. That’s why this decision was so incredibly hard to make, and I hate to have to share this news.

For the next while, I'm taking a step back from baking as I focus on some health issues and prioritize taking care of myself.

I may still be able to take occasional orders from friends, family, and those I’ve baked for over the years (because some of y’all feel like family, too!) but unfortunately I won’t be able to take on any new clients during this time, as I need to give myself flexibility while I focus on my health.

I’m hopeful this is just a pause and not an ending, and I look forward to being able to bake more again in the future.

Thank you for the continued love, understanding, and support. It truly means more than I can say. 💜

🧁 4 dozen of these yummy cupcakes went out today for a retirement party! They chose a mix of Vanilla Bean cupcakes, Vanilla Creme filling, with Vanilla frosting... then some Chocolate cupcakes, Salted Caramel Filling, with Chocolate frosting... and then some Chocolate cupcakes, Fudgy Chocolate Ganache filling, with Chocolate frosting. 🍫 🤤 all fabulous choices! 🥰
