Think you’re ready for bloom season?
Think again. 🌼
These don’t whisper—they show up.
CempasĂşchils No. 3 pushes further into texture, weight, and color. Palette knife, thicker paint, and a little more attitude than your average bouquet.
Not for quiet walls.

Rain, storms… and we still made it work 👀
Art in the Garden wasn’t the busiest weekend (Saturday was slow, Sunday got hit with a thunderstorm), but I’m really grateful for everyone who showed up and spent time with the work.
Amanitas No. 8 went to a new home, along with prints across All my series - Amanitas, Frozen Treats, Florals and of course my Fruits and Veggies.
And Going Bananas picked up a Merit Award 🍌🏆
Huge thank you to Altrusa for putting together a beautiful, welcoming show—I felt supported the entire weekend. Judy, Carleen, Cindy, and the entire team are amazing!
Also, it was great meeting so many talented artists—always appreciate the good vibes and fun conversations 🤝🏽
And a special shoutout to Erin from Quick-Laughlin Art for coming through and letting me borrow his panels, again, last minute. Wishing you a speedy recovery, my friend 🙏🏽
Very grateful as well for the support behind the scenes—my brother Ivan (visiting from Mexico City) who stayed a little longer to help me prep, set up, and be there the entire weekend, and Heidi for jumping in and helping both days. Couldn’t have done it without you ❤️
Not the busiest weekend—but definitely a very meaningful one.
Thank you to all the new collectors (and familiar faces) who made it special. .art

Bright. Bold.
…slightly suspicious 👀🍄
Amanitas No. 13
This one leans into contrast—warm, almost glowing color against a cool, quiet background.
The kind of piece that feels playful at first… and then a little mysterious the longer you look.
Part of the Amanitas series, available on my website.

Amanitas No. 6 🍄
Acrylic on canvas
Somewhere in the middle of this series, things started to settle.
The forms feel more familiar, the decisions more instinctive — less searching, more trusting.
Each piece still shifts, but there’s a rhythm now.
A sense of direction that wasn’t there at the beginning.
Not everything needs to change.
Sometimes it’s about refining what’s already working.

Amanitas No. 15 🍄
Acrylic on canvas
Some pieces in this series feel quieter.
This wasn’t one of them.
The color does most of the talking here — bold, direct, and a little hard to ignore.
Even within the same form, the energy can shift completely depending on how far you push it.
This one leans all the way in.
Part of the Amanitas series, available on my website.

Amanitas No. 16 🍄
Acrylic on canvas
After working through different compositions in this series, I found myself coming back to a simpler idea — a single form, centered, with nothing competing for attention.
Sometimes removing elements doesn’t make a piece smaller.
It makes it stronger.
This one leans into that.
Less distraction, more presence, and a clearer sense of direction.
