/// yes we are still posting about the premiere becuase it rocked. A large part of why that is, can be attributed to the amazing press and promotions team at . These people work hard and are movie fans to the core. Having genuine people out there helping spread the word means a lot. Poor, disingenuous marketing can actually hurt a good film and they make sure that everything they do is intentional and in service to the arts. .jpg has always been a strong voice in the film community across the state, having directed multiple films and helped on so many other projects just for the love of the game. I’ve always admired Jolee for the ability to be present and ensure that the art Jolee makes is personally expressive. Their next film “Cursed Tooth” is going to rule. is also an auteur that’s been a DIY champion. Between him constantly growing as an animator, he has always been on the front lines making sure that all the hard work this city (and beyond) does, has a voice. He’s been at this forever and his influence is everywhere in this state. .berumen took these photos, and has also been a DIY rockstar in the Fox Valley area for over ten years. From music videos, to shorts to commercial work she selflessly will always do her best for others and it’s something I’ve always connected with. It’s also been great to meet more as she help with that ethos. also helped during the film festival. I personally have not had a lot of contact with Alyssa, but my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE film of the entire festival a few years back was Mandatory Bathroom Break. It just captured a tone and feeling and maintained it so well that I hoped it wouldn’t end. I really look forward to seeing their next film. If you can, drop a thank you, drop a story when you’ve worked with these great humans. We couldn’t be luckier to have better voices watching out for the arts here in Wisconsin. Thank you for the long hours all festival run, and for being great humans. ✌️ we also understand many more people were instrumental in the marketing and festival staff and we are grateful to them as well.

just got some great photos from .girl .berumen! This was such a fun night and we are excited to share more soon on the film! Thank you to everyone that came out! Thank you to all of the friends and family that make nights like this possible and we hope you had a blast. And lastly thank you the festival and their staff for being so accommodating and allowing us to cause some chaos at the screening. The Milwaukee Film Festival is a tradition we look forward to next year.
