That’s me with the Soar 16-piece bundle by Katarina Roccella.  The florals are so dreamy, the colors are soft but still rich, and every single print plays so nicely together. Oh and the cranes!!! Did i mention the beautiful cranes?! Fun fact: I grew up only 4 miles from the International Crane foundation and would wake every day to the call of the cranes faintly echoing in the wind.

Honestly… this is just one of those bundles that makes you want to start a quilt immediately. 🪡  The colors, these prints are perfection.  What would you make? I'm plotting several ideas.

Quilter confession: I’ve been quilting 10 years and still hadn’t made an Irish Chain. 😅

It’s one of the most classic quilts ever… and somehow it never made it onto my cutting table.

This is the year I decided it was finally going to happen... I am making a scrappy Irish Chain and while pulling fabrics I ended up with a combination that was just too pretty not to share.

Soft low-volume prints with hints of green, pink, blue, and yellow paired with rich greens for the chain.

Balanced, scrappy, and timeless.
