As a creative, it's naturally have the urge to learn new things and expand our horizons.

The thrill of diving into uncharted
territories, be it a new art medium, a fresh technique, or a novel idea, can be exhilarating. However, with this excitement often comes the realization that mastering something new isn't always a straightforward & easy journey.

And guess what?

That's perfectly OK.

One of the most empowering aspects of being an artist is the ability to embrace mistakes and view them as valuable stepping stones rather than setbacks.

Each brushstroke that doesn't quite land where intended, each chord that sounds a bit off, every piece of writing that feels clunky—these are all part of the creative process.

The beauty lies in the fact that we have the power to erase, revise, and start over.

Creativity isn't about achieving perfection on the first try; it's about growth, experimentation, and resilience. Every "mistake" is an opportunity to learn, refine, and discover new pathways we might not have seen otherwise.

So, to all the creatives out there, remember: It's okay if you don't master every new skill right away.

Embrace the journey, cherish your missteps, and celebrate the freedom to start anew. After all, it's in the process of creating that we often find our true artistry.

We love meeting up with like minded creatives.

For those who prefer the in-person way to meet people, we offer monthly face-to-face Meet & Greet gatherings. These events are open to all, regardless of membership status, offering an opportunity to connect and showcase your creativity within the community, or to show support of creatives even if a person doesn’t think they can draw a stick figure.

At the Impulse market at The Art Garage with Emily Deelisa I leaned over & said

“Bet that person wearing tie-dye will not buy anything, they never do”

After that person made a purchase Em handed me this & told me I looked hungry.

Me eating my words…. People wearing tie-dye do buy tie-dye.
