We have our first bounty of the 2026 growing season! These are Thalia daffodils. What do you think? I think we need more daffodil varieties next year!

It’s not the most desired photo from a flower farm account, but it’s the most important. Today we start planting 1000 dahlias. My favorite flower and our highest volume variety that we grow here.

We made changes to our dahlia field this year and it makes me feel both, excited and nervous. Instead of beds that face north-south we have lengthened the rows, narrowed them and will be planting east-west.

It takes my breath away a little bit thinking of how this space will look by mid August. 😍😍😍

Even though we have been steadily and quietly seed starting, planting, cleaning up and organizing the farm for over one month already it always feels like the great dahlia planting truly kicks off our growing season.

I am SO EXCITED to be offering fresh floral designs for Mother’s Day next weekend! While we won’t quite have our own locally grown blooms available I have ordered some amazing, colorful goodies for wraps and jar arrangements. I consider Mother’s Day our official kickoff to flower stand season. The hope is to offer goodies as regularly as possible this year from May through October!

I, like you, can hardly wait for the first glorious blooms!

We will be kicking off of flower stand for the season Mother’s Day weekend! I can’t wait to put the pink canopy and beautiful floral arrangements out at the end of our driveway again! The flower stand was something we added last year and it was a big success! We sold out nearly every time we were able to open.

It’s too early in the growing season to use our own blooms but I have sourced some real beauties this year to help gift a colorful, eclectic and bright bouquet to a mother figure, yourself, friend or other relative. 🥰💐

We will also have handmade soaps sourced locally from Laurie as well as dahlia tubers and possibly other plants and seedlings you can purchase for your own gardens!

Really looking forward to brightening early May with blooms & gifts to share for my neighbors and community!

Our Spring dahlia restock opens Wednesday, March 11th at 7pm CST! Prices are marked down both, as a thank you to my customers but also, because at my core it means the most to me to help others grow dahlias. They are such a special flower. We hope you find some dahlias you will love to nurture and watch grow this season.

Shipping begins in mid April and don’t forget we have a local pickup option, which you can select at checkout.

Well, since I have dahlias on the brain today I thought I would give a dahlia update. I am currently in the process of inspecting all of our dahlia clumps as well as working on a new inventory count. I will be reopening our online tuber shop for a restock sale some time in March!
