Katnip Does Hair

Once again forgot a before 😅 But I cut my hubbys hair! Felt so much better being able to do all of it this time!! I’m very proud! Michael Bowman

So my wonderful friend Bre let me cut her hair, and this was my FIRST haircut out of a classroom on a real person. I’ve only ever cut Michaels hair. We took off 6 1/2 inches to remove the length, but we honestly might of cut off close to 8 inches by the end of it! I’m so happy, and proud of what I did, and with a razor cut too!

Got my new left handed shears I treated myself to as a late birthday present for me today! I absolutely love them! Can’t wait to try them out soo soo soon!

Hey! It’s been a while hasn’t it! I’ve been off of school for some personal reasons, but I am back! Today we did the balyage hair coloring technique! We also got to use real lightening products, and I feel so good about it. This is a full balyage technique. No toner was used as this is just a mannequin 😉

Sorry it’s been a hot minute! We’ve been working on blunt cuts and this is a zero degree elevation cut with a rounded perimeter. No products, just a simple blow out 🥰

Did my moms hair and gave her a scalp treatment as well! Doesn’t she look great!!

Michael got to be a model today!! Michael is my dear Husband with lots of patience! He received a scalp treatment that consists of flaking the scalp, thoroughly washing it, and a deep condition to restore the hair!
So much fun, and it was great to spend time with him today in my school environment 🥰
