Recently, we celebrated the accomplishments of our graduating Youth Apprentices during a special recognition ceremony honoring their growth, dedication and contributions throughout the program.
To these 31 apprentices, thank you for the impact you’ve made at Pierce Manufacturing. We are proud to have been part of your journey and excited to see where the future takes you next.

For Paul Hashagen, firefighting has never been something he clocked in and out of. It was a vocation which shaped his life in the firehouse, in leadership, in training rooms, in books and now even on social media.
Hashagen served with Manhattan’s Rescue Company 1 — one of the most elite assignments in the U.S. — while also leading as chief of the Freeport Fire Department in Freeport, New York. After a 25-year FDNY career, including 20 years in Rescue 1, he retired in 2003.

We are excited to announce the Minneapolis Fire Department in Minneapolis, Minnesota, has placed an order for three Pierce Enforcer™ Pumpers. The order, secured through Pierce dealer MacQueen Emergency Solutions, marks the department’s move from commercial chassis pumpers to Pierce custom fire apparatus designed to meet the operational demands of Minnesota’s largest city.

Recently, we had the honor of welcoming 59 new Youth Apprentices representing 22 local high schools in the Appleton, Wisconsin area!
Throughout their apprenticeships, students will gain hands-on experience while exploring careers in manufacturing and building valuable skills for the future. Students will support many areas of our business, from welding and assembly to engineering and everything in between.
We are excited to welcome them to the Pierce Manufacturing team, and we look forward to supporting their journey.
