Artists at Heart

This guy came to say hello on the Jobsite this morning. And as I got out of the truck. A huge flock of geese flew low and directly overhead. With the Fall foliage in full color change and the wildlife in abundance. It calms my heart in these uncertain times. A reassuring feeling that my Heavenly Father is in control. Come what May I can rely on his strength and wisdom to guide me through the days ahead.

A few years ago on my last project in Florida’s East Coast. I had the idea to paint on seashells I had found on the beach. They were quarter to ping pong ball sized. Somecare in the first photo. It was hard on my Eyes🤣😂but yesterday I stopped at Goodwill and saw these 2-$1 treasures . So I thought I’d give it another shot. The backside photo has a quarter in it for scale. So recently we traveled to Scotland. After 40 years I finally bought a kilt. I also purchased a inexpensive Sporran $30ish. So I decided when I got home I wanted to make my own custom one. So for about the same price and 8-9 hours of hard work , hand stitching , tooling and hole punching. I DID IT!! I’m so excited ! Can’t wait to add it to my kit.
