Senior Sunset 2026 - what a great night!

The AFHS PTSA especially thanks:

Many thanks to Mustang Charlie's Diner for providing sandwiches at a discount for our Senior Sunset and helping to feed our hungry seniors and staff! It was a magnificent night -- love these pics!!

Today, we remember and honor all our bravest who made the greatest sacrifice for our freedoms, especially the soldiers and their families who are in our Friendship Community. Thank you.

The PTSA is accepting financial donations on behalf of AFHS to support the AFHS Food Pantry as it is running low on supplies. This Food Pantry is used by all 3 Apex Friendship Schools and helps support our Families and Staff who are struggling to make ends meet. We would greatly appreciate your support so we can restock the Food Pantry with both fresh & dry/canned items. Thank you to those who already have generously donated!!

To complete Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week, the PTSA provided Amazon gift cards, which were all generously donated by the amazing PTSA families!

Thank YOU to every person who donated and made this week a resounding success! These donations are even more meaningful as the PTSA is struggling with fundraising and funding, and your show of support speaks volumes to the teachers, staff, and the PTSA.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Lunch!

Italian lunch today - catered by Enrigo Italian Bistro in Cary and funded by the PTSA.

Many thanks to Mr. Kasapadis and George from Enrigo Italian Bistro who carried everything up to the 2nd floor since we had no elevator. Despite the pouring rain, stairs, and other minor hiccups, it was a fantastic event! Super thanks to Kelli Joyner (Hospitality Chair) and Nicole Bauer (Secretary) who made all this happen flawlessly! We had a great time connecting with staff and showing them our appreciation.

Enrigo's food was amazing! We had Zoodles (Zucchini noodles - our gluten & dairy free option), Penne Bolognese, Penne in tomato cream sauce, eggplant parm, and salad with a variety of cookies. www.dineenrigo.com
