This home is located in historic Boylan Heights and was built in 1930. We will be adding a two car garage to the rear of the home with new 1st & 2nd floor heated square footage above to include stairs and an elevator. We will also be remodeling the existing kitchen, adding a bathroom and roughing in for future second floor bedrooms, bathrooms, library, sitting and exercise rooms.
But first and foremost, we had to dig down 5’+ in the basement to create a workshop and storage area with full head height. This part of the project has been extremely challenging, and I cannot imagine trying to do it without the help of a good friend and fellow Contractor, Samuel Chalk. With the help of Sammy and his team we have gotten to the better side of it and are now framing. I look forward to sharing more pictures as we Progress!!

We are mid stride on this Home Addition and remodel in the five points area. The home was originally built in 1923 and other than the front porch & screen porch addition it was mostly original. We added a primary suite and sitting room to the back of the home as well as a side entry. Then we enclosed the upper balcony to create a larger bedroom as well as reclaim the screen porch to create a dining room. With the additional square footage, we were able to reconfigure the first floor to include a powder room and laundry room.  We are also redoing all of the wiring, plumbing and HVAC. As well as all new entry doors, windows, siding, and shingles.  Shortly after we started the project we realized that behind the plaster walls, that were in poor condition, was no insulation. The owners decided to go ahead and remove all of the plaster and insulate the home to today’s standards. We look forward to sharing more as we get closer to finished.

I really love seeing Projects go from paper to a structure! We are adding a 2nd garage bay with a bonus room above. We will also be doing alterations to the second and first floor to create more usable space for this family. 

Really pleased with this primary suite and kitchen remodel!!  Didn’t get “all the way finished” pictures lol before and right after glass was installed and still had tape everywhere. 

Primary Bath redo. We overtook the powder room to enlarge the Primary Bath room. We moved the Powder room to an adjacent closet and reconfigured another closet in the hallway to the Primary suite.
