This question isn’t a test and there’s no perfect answer. It’s a moment to pause and think about where risk actually shows up for real people—not in headlines, but in daily life.

Ten years ago, I was sitting in an interview room, eager but uncertain about my future in the cyber security industry. I remember how I had spent weeks preparing, reviewing everything I could about risk management and security frameworks, yet I had no real experience. I knew I was passionate about helping businesses, but I wasn’t sure if the person across the table could see it in me.

The interview went well, but I still remember feeling that I had so much to prove. I spoke about becoming the best in class, not just in cyber terms, but as a mindset. My interviewers seemed skeptical at first, but I pushed forward, explaining how security could be learned and was more than just keeping hackers out—it was about ensuring a business could thrive, even under pressure.

Fast forward to today, and I’m proud to say that passion paid off. The journey was anything but easy, but each challenge along the way taught me something new. From building RevolutionCyber into a consulting powerhouse to helping organizations of all sizes transform their security postures, the lessons keep coming.

Now, being recognized as one of LinkedIn’s Top Information Security Voices feels surreal. It’s a testament not just to my dedication but to the importance of having a clear vision for the future of cyber resilience. I still think about that interview, how a spark of determination and the right mindset opened the door to an incredible decade in an ever-evolving industry.

That same determination now fuels my voice in the community, sharing insights and empowering the next generation of security professionals to think beyond the surface—toward resilience, innovation, and long-term business success.

Then, I had drinks at my hotel, on the Lower East Side. Yesterday, I grabbed the most perfect wings at . Yum! 😋 I ended the day with dinner at and meeting up with one of the best people, later that night! It was a quick getaway, but I am returning to Columbus with my heart full of great memories!

(Not an April Fool’s post) Today I have given my employees and its contractors the day off for Mental Health and Self-Care. I decided when I began @revolutioncyber_ five years ago that as CEO I would model behaviors and create the safe and healthy culture of excellence that I could not find working at larger organizations. In addition to a fully remote and distributed workforce, this is one of those benefits that your employees will never ask for, but definitely need. Today, I’m asking my team to spend time doing the thing that makes them feel most healthy and whole. This means that today, I am sitting on my couch, watching Nigerian movies, talking to friends and going to the gym and sauna. I realize that my gift to the company and to the world, is to thrive in a world that enjoys seeing suffrage. It’s also to dance and laugh like no one’s watching. My only job is to be the change I seek in the world - at all cost.

Apple has canceled work on its electric car, shifting some employees to its artificial intelligence project, Bloomberg News reported.
