Red Barn Rabbitry - IN

We have some otters & a black doe looking to hop. Will be attending Wabash and anyone left will not be coming home with me. So if anyone is looking, reach out! Bucks & does

I sent 4 rabbits up to Lowell today, mainly for feedback on 2 of my juniors and 2 to represent the shadeds, and low and behold, Syrup decides to pull off a Best of Breed under Jeremy! I couldn't be more thrilled. This doe has been one of my favorites this year. I have a new round of her siblings growing now & more will be coming for nationals!

Thanks April & Zaid for taking great care of my rabbits and putting them up for me. So blessed to have wonderful rabbit friends 🧡

Looking forward to heading to Wabash next weekend and seeing more rabbit friends! Next weekend will be more blue hoilcers focused.

Had a great time in Danville this weekend! Got to meet some new people, put faces to rabbitry names, talk to new judges ive personally never shown under and learn and new thing or 3! It was a haul & extremely humid but a good time! We had a lot of great results in the triple show. We took 11 animals (3 holicers & 8 mini rex). Each show we took BOB/BOSB (Holicer by default) but got great feedback and 2 honorable mentions on the BIS table for our beautiful Holicer doe! Shes been a favorite since day 1. Glad to see other appreciate her beauty as much as me ❤️

Just realized I never posted Indiana State Fair results! So happy with how showing went and cant wait to get through molting so we can get back.on the tables!

Mini Rex:
BOV black jr doe (cobred w/ Pfef’s Pals Rabbitry; Shown by Kara)
BOG/BOSG Shaded with the Torts
1st Sr Otter buck
2nd Sr Otter doe
4th broken JR doe, she loved her but baby coat

Blue Holicers:
3rd & 5th Sr Does
Cowboy got DQ'd for sucking a nut up 🤦‍♀️ but she loved him! Wish he would have gotten placed.

Thanks to Janalle Pfefferkorn & her girls for driving us down and being great company! Congratulations to everyone who did well & cant wait for next year 🫶❤️

7 babies on 7/7 (777) out off my sweet Haven doe & Cowboy! (Phat Girls son)

To say this litter has me excited, is an understatement! Its been awhile since ive had these high of expectations!! All look to appear great in color too 🤩

Everyone needs a best friend/cobreeder like mine! She saved the day yesterday! I had to work 12 hrs in a hot basement and got worried about the rabbits. So Janalle came over, did chores and even brought some of the blue holicers in for me! It would have been a LONG day for them in that heat and so I wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Janalle at Pfef’s Pals Rabbitry for helping me keep my heat hating babies safe & cared for! We appreciate you & the girls x 10000!

SOME RABBITS ARE WORTH IT.. i will say this until i'm blue in the face. There is nothing worse than losing a pregnant mom. Due to the heat. It's not ideal, but I will always bring them in.

I lost one of my favorite does ever 2 years ago from the heat and I'll never make that mistake again.

Hope everyone is fairing okay in this weather 🫶

It was a fast paced but fun filled weekend! I always love showing in Shipshewana because its close to home and I get to see so many rabbit friends who dont get to travel as far as I do sometimes! This location is in my top 3 (besides Lowell & Coldwater). We had some awesome placings which is always a plus but it was refreshing to get so many new perspectives & lots of learning done this weekend. Especially with the Holicers! I love getting to talk to judges about them and how theyre changing & evolving in and around this area.

As always, congratulations to ALL the winners this weekend! There were some super quality animals hitting the table of multiple breeds!

Congratulations to Jaclyne Hu on her DOUBLE BIS with her beautiful spot! And another congratulations to my partner Kathy Compton for helping me create the beautiful Phat F***y! I appreciate your help and guidance in the Blue Holicer breed and I think Xoa & Phat girl made some beautiful kits! Can't wait to see how they all do for us both!

Enjoy this cute picture of "Big Boy" (Janice x Hank)

He had been hanging out with us for some breeding but is now happily home enjoying our niece and nephews loving on him again while getting ready for some summer fun!
