Getting er done on a late Friday afternoon…..

This trunk was massive, but as you can see it was more than half rotted. We finished up the job we were at yesterday early this afternoon and this baby was from the tree that was by the road.

Working in a tight spot but we brought the big toys to get the job done. This is a complete tear down so a rare time when the house and yard don’t matter. 🙃

This is the most fun! Dropping (or flopping) a whole tree. So very rare that we have the space to do this!

Prior to the storms, we had been working on a large contracted job to remove 9 trees. We got 3 of them done and then we went straight into storm clean up mode. We took a week off as our youngest daughter got married in Florida on July 4th (awwwwww). Last week we worked on that large tree that fell in the water and finished up the week with the other half of a storm damage clean up job we started a couple weeks ago. This week we returned to the contract job and knocked out the remaining 6 trees. The last one we finished today was one big tree. We used the crane and let me tell you……it struggled to get that log in the trailer. What an amazing piece of wood it is! Here are a few pics of the work we did this week.

Wow! What a crazy month we have had! After the storms rolled in on June 12 and kept rolling in after that………we have done some crazy jobs! Last week we cleaned up a tree that fell smack in the middle of a dock and took out a pontoon boat and a vintage sea plane. 😢 We mobilized our crew and with some stellar help from friends and neighbors who jumped in the water too, we got that bad boy cleaned up and taken out through a 5’ opening between the houses. 😳

We have been working for 6 days straight doing storm damage clean up. Today we brought the whole fleet to take down and clean up 4 storm damaged trees that were broken off, on a garage, on a house, and uprooted. In addition we took “hangers” out of at least 4 more trees. And we raked, and raked, and raked. As we speak there are more severe storms rolling in……….tree work can be feast or famine. We are hoping to get everyone taken care of and are incredibly grateful for the trust and confidence that our clients have put in us to get them cleaned up. Be safe out there!
Another gorgeous day doing tree work with the crane. Free estimates and fully insured!
