Misty is hanging in there. She’s still very tired, and fighting us when feeding, but she looks much better than she did when we got her. She sees the vet for some stuffiness today, and then hopefully it’s all uphill from there!

It is most definitely kitten season. Today we took in 3 week old Misty, who was abandoned by her mom due to her poor condition.

When kittens are in poor health, sometimes mom will remove them from the nest to give the healthier kittens a better chance.

Misty is fighting her hardest, and after several flea baths (we removed over 50 fleas from her tiny body), some warm formula, and a nap, it seems she has a fighting chance!

sponsor a community cat!! We’ve taken on trapping at a colony in our neighborhood. So far, we’ve helped three and there are many more to go! The cost for spays and neuters is $70 (thank you Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic!!).
