Three years.

That’s how long it’s been since Sweet Home Sweets last set up at the Texas Independence Day Festival at Washington-on-the-Brazos State Historic Site — and we are SO excited to be back.
After seasons of renovations and restoration across the park, this year feels extra special. There’s something meaningful about celebrating Texas history in a place where it all began — surrounded by families, traditions, and small businesses who love this state as much as we do.

We’ll be set up in Texian Village on Saturday, February 28th, bringing a red, white, and blue lineup of:
❤️ Brownies & blondies
🤍 Fresh-baked cookies
💙 Pies (including our Texas pecan pie!)… and more Texas-made favorites.

We’re especially proud that many of our ingredients are Texas-grown and Texas-made — from the pecans in our pecan pies and Texas Cowboy Cookies to the 100% raw honey from Moody Ranch drizzled over our Sopapilla Blondies.

It’s more than dessert for us. It’s celebrating where we’re from. It’s honoring tradition. It’s sharing something sweet with your family while making memories.

Festivities begin Friday and continue all weekend — but we’ll see you Saturday in Texian Village!

Before it’s time to trade our aprons for Christmas PJs, pour a mug of hot cocoa, work on a puzzle, and marathon our favorite holiday movies (after we reorganize the kitchen, of course 😉)… we have one last pop-up market to wrap up the year.

Our final Bryan/College Station Christmas market of 2025 is happening at the Legends Event Center in Bryan from 11am–5pm.

Later in the day, we’ll be headed to downtown Navasota, set up right outside City Hall, celebrating Home for the Holidays in a magical winter wonderland!

🎄 Stop by our pop-up tent anytime from 1pm–5pm to grab your Sweet Home Sweets favorites before the Christmas parade kicks off in the evening.

HOLIDAY PIE PSA:
Before you slip into your stretchy pants and welcome all your guests…�Here’s your Sweet Home Sweets Pie Reminder:
✨ Take your SHS Texas Pecan and/or Brookie pies out of the freezer 2–4 hours before your guests arrive and leave them on your kitchen counter (DO NOT REFRIGERATE!! It will zap the moisture out and affect the flavor).
�✨ Serve at room temperature
�✨ And the real pro tip?�After plating your slice, pop it into the microwave for 10–15 seconds, add a scoop of ice cream… and watch your guests fall completely in love. 😌🍦🥧
