We offer STEAM Afterschool Programs, Summer Camps, and Awareness Events, and empower teachers. I.T. by bringing IT programs and companies together.

Through a unique combination of instruction, outreach events, and speaker series, our organization has reached 2500+ youth and 800+ community members. Students have been introduced to topics covering Finance, Health & Wellness, and Communication, as well as to opportunities in the field of Information Technology (IT). AWARENESS EVENTS:

Teacher Perspectives on COVID-19’s Impact on K-12 Computer Science Instruction 11/02/2020

According to findings from a newly released report by the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) and Kapor Center:

1. CS teachers in low-income schools reported experiencing digital divide challenges at a rate 3x higher than teachers in higher-income schools.
2. CS teachers in rural schools had to suspend instruction at a rate over twice as high (34%) as those in urban schools (17%).
3. 54% of teachers serving primarily underrepresented students found distance learning is posing a major challenge for CS instruction.

We are excited to share that beginning on May 18th, some of our friends at Microsoft will be hosting a series of webinars to introduce you to the Microsoft Devices organization and internship program. Recent college graduates whom have joined the team, as well as former interns and hiring managers from Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering and Devices Software at Microsoft will be present.

In addition, tips and tricks for preparing effective resumes, developing interview skills and networking will be shared, and prizes will be raffled at the end of each session.
