Capstone Church

On July 9th, Missions Everywhere & Capstone Church will be sending a team to Ukraine. During this trip, they will be encouraging local churches and pastors, while spending much of their time serving at a children's camp for boys and girls whose lives have been impacted by the ongoing war.

For many of these children, camp provides a safe place to laugh, play, make friends, enjoy a meal, and simply be children again. We are thankful for the opportunity to come alongside those serving these families and share the love and hope of Christ.

As we prepare to go, we are collecting much-needed supplies to take with us:

• Ibuprofen and Tylenol (generic brands are fine!)
• Arthritis cream
• Vitamin C
• Multivitamins
• Neosporin
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Bars of soap
• Eyeglasses

Perhaps your family, small group, or work group would like to help collect some of these items.

Donations can be dropped off at Capstone Church or Captain Dave's Boating World.

Most importantly, we ask for your prayers—for safe travels, for the churches and pastors we will encourage, for the families we will meet, and especially for the children attending camp. Please pray that they will experience hope, joy, and the love of Christ during a difficult season of life.

All donations are needed by Sunday, July 5th.

Capstone Family - due to the weather forecast Sunday's worship service will be indoors. We are still planning on lunch afterwards so please bring your side dish or dessert based on your last name.

Capstone family, last night, Pastor David’s mother peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior and was reunited with loved ones who had gone before her. What a beautiful reminder of the hope we have in Christ — She is Home.

Please keep Pastor David and the Barfield family close in prayer over the coming days. We know many of you love them deeply, and your prayers, encouragement, and support mean so much during this time.

While Pastor David is spending time with his family, our Capstone staff is here for you and ready to help in any way we can.

The cleaning days for helping Kingdom Community Church have been put on hold for now. Thank you for your willingness to help. We'll post any new dates and details when we get them.

Make plans to stay after churcn on Sunday, June 14th, as we welcome the Renbergs back home! A light snack will be served.
