On Saturday I had the great privilege of being the event photographer for Protect Hoosier Choice March and Rally at the Indiana State House and here are just a few of my favorite pictures I took that day.
Thank you to Noah Thomas and Savannah Hart for organizing this rally - we need more Hoosiers like them who are willing to stand out and say "This isn't right. We wont take any more of this".

It's Pride Season! So come and join me as I document all the fantastic pride festivals (that I can get to) this year!
This is the first post in a new series called "Pride: Love V.S. Hate" where I will document the festivals I attend and show the contrast between the festival itself and the "Christians" who've come to protest.
The first six photos are of the actual pride festival while the rest focus on the protesters and the fabulous welcome they received. At the center of the "welcome" is the Indiana Crossroads Sisters, Abbey of the Shimmering Silo. These q***r nuns made sure to let the protesters know that their message was not welcome.
I honestly feel bad for these peoples family's. Instead of spending an absolutely beautiful day with their family, these people are out here spreading their hatred and bigotry. They even admitted at one point that they could be at a picnic with their kids but were protesting instead.
Stay tuned for more posts as I travel to more pride fests!

Major Announcement!!!
With the legislative session coming to an end, I am excited to announce my next project!
I am super excited to announce that I have teamed up with Indiana Youth Group (IYG) to publish my photos covering the Slate of Hate in a photo book. Along with the pictures, I am including testimonials and love letters. If you would like to submit a love letter/testimonial, message me or head over to my website and fill out the form.
All proceeds from the book will go to various LGBTQ groups around Indiana. If you would like to partner with me in making this book possible, please reach out.
I am so excited about this book and to share all the amazing photos I've taken over the past several months.

The moon's been beautiful these past couple of nights, so I decided to do a little midnight moon shoot. I also played around with the shutter speed, capturing some cool effects from house lights and a stop sign.
I absolutely love the first picture in this set because a tree branch makes it appear as if the moon is cracked.

Cats! I decided to do a photoshoot with my cats a while back and never got around to posting them so here they are now! Not gonna lie, I think I have the cutest cats and I'm pretty sure you'll agree when you see them.
The grey one is AP (Aaron Purr) and the black one is Magoo.
If you want some really cute photos of your pet, just head over to my website to book a session!

Here are many of the pictures I took on Saturday. It was so refreshing to see so much positivity and love in the Statehouse for a change. I think this event officially wraps up my time of the Statehouse this year, but obviously if something comes up I will be there to document it. By no means am I done, in fact I am working on a super exciting project that I will be announcing in the next few weeks!
As some of you might have seen on my personal account, there was a rally at the Statehouse for LGBTQ rights on Saturday. I went and got some amazing pictures that I can't wait to share with all of you! My plan was to have these pictures posted by Monday, but I decided I needed a break from all of this to let myself recharge. That being said, I have a made a post that is scheduled to be released tomorrow afternoon.
Self care is super important during difficult times like these. We have to remember that it is ok to step back for a little bit to let yourself recharge.

Here is my second round of pictures from my "Stand Up, Fight Back" collection.
Despite what lawmakers and others are saying, SB 480 and HB 1608 will have the largest effect on youth. Whether it be because they have to stop taking a life-saving treatment or because they have lost school as the one safe space. At the end of the day, it is the young people who will be feeling the effects the most.
These young people here stood up and fought back. They made sure that their voice was heard.
If you see yourself in any of these photos and wish to have a copy, please DM me with your email so I can get you an original copy!

Here is my first round of pictures from my "Stand Up, Fight Back" collection. One of my favorite things about attending these rallies is seeing all of the posters that people have made so this first post is dedicated to all of the amazing posters I saw over the 2 days I was at the Statehouse. Over the next week, I will be releasing more pictures from this collection, so make sure to check back in daily!
