Alaska Conference

Deeply grateful for all our people who are serving on our Alaska Conference team! We are enjoying a great time of fellowship and seeking the Lord together here at Camp Maranatha in Big Lake!

Registration is open for the Women's RefresHer weekend. Our theme is "Glorious: His presence changes everything!" with Psalm 34:5 as our theme verse: "Those who look to him are radiant. Their faces are never covered with shame." https://www.alaskacovenant.org/womens-refresher-2026/

Welcome to Alaska, Pastor Brandon and Jenny Davis!

Bethel Evangelical Covenant Church is excited to welcome our new Senior Pastor, Brandon Davis, and his wife, Jenny, to Bethel. Brandon comes to our community with a heart for reaching people and building the kind of genuine, familial relationships that he believes are central to the Christian faith. His path of service has taken him from an inner-city homeless mission in Savannah, Georgia, to the coal fields of eastern Kentucky, experiences that have helped shape his empathy and willingness to step into challenging situations. He also brings 14 years of experience as a paramedic and five years as a police officer, giving him a unique background in listening, communicating, and walking alongside people during difficult moments.

Brandon describes his approach to ministry as simple and relational: listening to people, sharing life together, and meeting people exactly where they are. He believes that ministry can happen in a small group, over a cup of coffee, in times of suffering, or simply in the joy of people gathering together. At the heart of his ministry is a desire to reach those who may be overlooked and to foster a church community grounded in compassion, biblical faith, and sincere relationships. Brandon and Jenny have followed God's call across very different communities, and we are grateful that this journey has now brought them to Bethel. We look forward to introducing them to our wider community and to this new chapter in the life and ministry of Bethel Evangelical Covenant Church.

Pastor Brandon's first Sunday speaking is tomorrow 9/6 at 11 am at BECC. We hope you'll join us in welcoming him!

Our women's retreat will look a little different this year but will still be a wonderful time for ladies. More information coming soon.
