CARPENTERS IN ACTION

VOLUNTEERS are needed this Friday at the DOME located at 6501 Changepoint Drive, Anchorage. Due to weather conditions, we were unsuccessful at raising the dome on Wednesday. Please join us to attempt this one more time this Friday, September 15th at 7:30 AM. We really need your help!!! You don't have to be a Carpenter, Millwright or Piledriver to help, we just need bodies to show up....THE MORE THE BETTER!!!! BREAKING NEWS:
In response to a proposal to move the Legislative Office Building to Spenard, an emergency Spenard Community meeting was held last evening. In attendance were bar owners, adult bookstore owners, hookers, st*****rs, drunken musicians, prospective ma*****na store owners and after-hours gambling entrepreneurs.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the group voted unanimously to oppose the relocation of the Legislative Offices to a former bank building in Spenard.
A spokesman said, “We’re concerned that if the Legislature moves to Spenard, it will give our neighborhood a bad name and ruin our reputation.”
