is how we build safer, smarter teams. It’s not just about what we know, it’s about making sure others benefit from it.
From lessons learned on the job to mentorship in the field, sharing helps prevent mistakes, strengthen skills, and improve outcomes across every project. When we share openly, we all succeed. 🤝

Resurfacing is underway on 14 miles of the Dalton Highway, also known as the Haul Road, north of the Yukon River. Using high-performance asphalt emulsion (CRS-2P) and a precision chip seal application, this work is helping extend the life of one of the northernmost roads in the world.
Emulsion Products is proud to support this effort with specialized materials and equipment, helping keep this critical route open for recreation and essential transportation to the North Slope.

Safety Week Day 5: Celebrate Safety! 🎉
Safety isn’t just something we focus on for a week; it’s a mindset we carry with us every day. On Friday, we were in Haines connecting with Southeast Roadbuilders and celebrating the shared commitment to working safely across all our crews.
Safety is an everyday practice rooted in preparation, awareness, and looking out for one another. It’s how we show up on the job and how we make sure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

Safety Week Day 4: How to Stay Safe at Work
Safety starts long before the first piece of equipment moves. Today, we are in Juneau connecting with Secon crews and reinforcing what it takes to stay safe on every job.
Safety is a daily practice that requires attention to detail and preparation. By taking time to review the plan, inspect equipment, set up the work zone, wear the right PPE, and mentally prepare for the task, we help ensure everyone goes home safely at the end of the day. 🚧

Safety Week Day 3: Mental Health
Being prepared for work goes beyond the right tools and a solid plan; it’s also about taking care of ourselves and showing up for one another. Today, we traveled to Fairbanks to connect with crews from Exclusive Paving and Emulsion Products, reinforcing the importance of support, trust, and open conversation across all our teams.
A simple check-in can make a meaningful difference. Thank you to everyone who helps create a culture where people feel seen, supported, and safe every day. 💚

Safety Week Day 2: Responding!
Teams from Colaska, QAP, and Emulsion Products came together to focus on responding and taking action before hazards lead to incidents. Responding starts with planning, identifying risks, and implementing the right controls. It also means staying alert as conditions change, because what was safe yesterday may not be safe today.

Day 1 of Safety Week is under our safety vests! 🦺
Our teams made stops in Skagway and Cooper Landing to focus on Work Preparation, taking time to plan ahead, recognize hazards, and set every crew up for success.
Strong preparation doesn’t just improve the work; it strengthens our teams, builds trust, and reinforces our commitment to looking out for one another on every job.
Great start to the 2026 Colas Safety Week! Let’s keep it going.
We’re proud of the sharing that takes place not only across Colas USA but throughout our global Colas network, showcasing the connection, learning, and teamwork that move us all forward.
