The "tsk" sound that is made during Sanchin Kata is an audible confirmation that the practitioner is conscious of the need to close off his airway breifly.

I find the emphasis of the grabbing and pulling motion, that is expressed, after the bow, intriguing.
I've seen many hand motions prior to the low doublehand thrust, but none expressed like this. I'm curious (beyond the obvious) of the intention the instructor had behind this deliberate movement.

I find the adoption of Uechi-Ryu kata fascinating.
Interestingly, I find this gentleman's performance to resemble the performances of many of my students who have trained in other traditional arts. There's always that element of years of hard work that is slow to change.
Katas tend to look like Uechi technique, Uechi technique, Shotokan technique, Uechi technique, Taekwondo technique, Muay Thai technique, etc. . .
