We listen, and we don't judge around here... my mug may say Happiness is Halloween, but happiness in my baking world is drinking coffee out of a Halloween mug, with christmas music playing on the TV, while working on custom orders in my kitchen.

Find your happiness this holiday season. Find it in the little things, find it in the big things, and more importantly don't take away someone's happiness. Let them be. There's too much darkness in the world to take away from someone's joy.

As much as I was hoping to bring back some incredible fall weather from Alaska (yes- we went to ALASKA... wild, I'll share some photos soon!). Unfortunately that wasn't the case.

But instead, I'm bringing back the fall vibes and food at the least 🤷‍♀️

My personal favorite time of the year is coming and I CAN'T WAIT 👏 Thanks for coming to my Ted talk, as always, send me a DM for questions, ordering info, or just to say hi! I miss seeing all my regulars in person, but this way I can still see you at some point outside of running wild at a ball field or walmart 🤣

My husband and I are taking a very long overdue honeymoon/anniversary vacation!

We started right off the bat with children, blending families and adding twins to our family that we never got the "big white wedding", nor did we get a chance to go on a honeymoon vacation. So here we are, 11 years later going on a legitimate husband & wife only vacation!

Ill post pictures & information when we return as I would hate ruin the surprise. 🤫

That being said, if you send the business or my personal number a message and dont hear back from me during those dates, I promise I am not ignoring you, just putting my marriage first for a week. 🤍

Also, pray for the grandparents taking full reigns of having to shuttle the Chaney kids to school, sports, doctor appointments, church and overall feeding the misfits for a whole week! They need all the prayers they can get! Not that I dont have faith in their abilities because they are the real MVPS, but they might need a vacation themselves after this 🤣

So, since closing the storefront I have had several people reach out regarding a weekly delivery or monthly delivery/pre-order menu or just something to offer periodically. So I have given some thought and decided to give it a try.

I would like to say this will be a definite weekly thing, but I cannot gurantee. For now it'll be either every other week, or every few weeks. But with the fall season upon us, the baking side of me comes out even more.

So, I am going to offer my first weekly delivery/pickup order in this new chapter. Here's the rules.

🍁 This is next week's menu! It may change going forward, but for now this is what I am offering. In case you couldn't tell im manifesting the fall weather with food. 😆

🍁 Deadline to order is THIS FRIDAY. Cannot gurantee anything after that.

🍁Payment is via Venmo (anytime between now & pickup) or exact cash!

🍁 Pickup will be Amory Walmart Parking lot (like them good old days - iykyk 😅) 8am-830am.

🍁 Delivery is an option to Amory/ Hatley based Businesses, medical offices and schools only. Delivery time for those would be between 830-930 : just depends on how many orders but roughly that window.

For now this is what I have to offer. Still trusting in God's plan, still loving to bake & cook. Still taking custom orders, but for those who just want a little pick-me-up every now and then- this is for you!

Words of Faith Friday. ✝️🤍🙏

Life has truly been trying this summer. Between selling a house, buying a house, summer sports, every summer "camp" known to man, birthdays, showers (literally & celebration), we have been going nonstop this summer in the Chaney household.

I am looking forward to some routine & back-to-school festivities. Am I the only one?!

Here lately I have been using the bible app to find inspiration on what to read in my bible- I remember asking my husband one day if he just opens his bible to a random page or if he hears God tell him what to read, or if he started from the front of the book & reads to the back. And he said a mix, but usually just reads what comes to him from God. To me - I didnt understand it, at first. So I started using the Bible App on my phone, and every day it sends me a scripture and I would open my bible to that scripture & read what came before & after. And as I have been doing this I realize that this is what Seth meant. This is God showing me what to read, what I need to learn, what I need to consume & take in from the bible. Because not once have I opened my bible to read any part of it and it brought failure to my life.

So I want to ask you, how do you go about reading your bible? I also want to know what your favorite verse is in the bible so I can add to my list of areas in the bible to read through if I havent already. Because lets be real, I didn't grow up in the church or around people who read the bible. In "years" wise I'm still a toddler in my salvation- so I have a lot of reading & growth to do! I don't know many scriptures, as i'm still reading & learning every day. But this, this one right here, very very true.

I've spoken to so many people over the past few weeks since I announced the closing of my storefront. Most have been supportive, a few have been sad & disappointed. None have been ugly or rude and I am incredibly thankful for that.

I do want to clear the air a little more- ONLY the storefront is closed.

🤍 If you're on the books for a custom order- that order will be fulfilled & I will reach out to discuss those details as well get closer to your date(s)

🤍 If you need a custom order- reach out! I can't gurantee as to whether I can do it but don't hesitate to try! Because of some changes in my personal life I will be more limited in the quantity of custom orders I take on a weekly/monthly basis.

🤍 Holidays & Major events will still happen (Celebration Village, Chilifest, Railroad Festival, Christmas & Thanksgiving etc) Quantities & Menus will be limited- but will still happen!

🤍 Homeland Sweets isn't going anywhere for now, so long as God says so, I have plans. 🙏

🤍As many can tell, I am adding to my portfolio though - to include catering/grazing tables. And the Cake Bar is also still available for events!

So please, don't fear I am not going anywhere & your cookie dealer is still around, just may have to plan like the good ol days a little more on getting your hands on cookies, sweets & more!

Happy 250th Birthday America 🇺🇲

This past weekend I was given the opportunity to do my first ever charcuterie grazing table, with custom desserts & treats to match for a wonderful family who received a beautiful blessing! I had fun shopping, decorating & setting this all up and watching it come together so beautifully.
