To responsibly and safely redistribute used and refurbished bicycles to homeless or at-risk members of the community. Welcome to We-Cycle! Thank you!

We are a needs-based provider of bicycle transportation for those experiencing, or at-risk of, homelessness in our community. The barriers experienced by these individuals may be extensive, and We-Cycle strives to fill this niche service sector, in order to support these individuals. While bicycle transportation may be an ideal option for some, there are many in our community who cannot afford to

Craig Corson and his business partner and Wife Diane Corson have dedicated a lifetime of service the Iowa Cycling Community as well as to the Ames Community at large.
Much of cycling infrastructure that we enjoy and take for granted across the state can be attributed in some part to this amazing couple.
Please read all about their amazing contributions and achievements.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from We-Cycle!

Photos from We-Cycle's post 12/01/2025

I found myself reminiscing about the evolution of the We-Cycle Shop space over the past seven years and the overall growth of We-Cycle since it's inception.

So, I decided to pour over some old photos of the shop, and create some Before/After comparisons, as well as include some photos of past volunteers. Our volunteers have played a crucial role in helping make We-Cycle successful and have brought such fun and enthusiasm. Please enjoy these and stay tuned for more.

As always, We-Cycle would also like to thank the team at Reliable Street for the use of their building to run our operations. Thank you.
