Frank Phillips College-Dalhart wrapped up Day 2 of camp today! We channeled our inner Ninja Turtles and trained with weapons just like our favorite heroes. 🐒πŸ₯·

Meanwhile, Amarillo's Splash Bash was our best one yet! With more than 1,000 water balloons and an epic water gun battle to end all water gun battles, the fun never stopped. πŸ’¦πŸ”«πŸŽˆ

And if you happened to visit Thompson Park today and thought it rained... it didn't. That was just a bunch of ninjas having the time of their lives! β˜”πŸ₯‹πŸ˜„ :::

Do you want your child in a place where they can grow, stay active, learn discipline, and build real confidence in a safe environment?

Second Baptist Church is grateful to partner with Sensei Candy to offer karate classes that do more than teach movement. This is a place where children and teens can learn focus, respect, self-control, and healthy strength while being encouraged in a positive and structured setting.

They are not only learning techniques. They are learning how to carry themselves with confidence, respond with wisdom, and develop skills that can help them protect themselves and make strong choices in everyday life.

Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, β€œTrain up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” It is a blessing to invest in young lives in ways that help them grow stronger in body, mind, and character.

Karate can be a powerful tool for healthy development. In a world where many parents are searching for something safe, meaningful, and productive for their children, this program offers a place to learn, grow, and thrive. We also offer full scholarships for children who cannot afford after school programs, because every child deserves the opportunity to succeed. If the Lord lays it on your heart, you can also help sponsor a child and make a lasting difference in their life.

Classes meet Monday and Friday from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, and Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Family Life Center, 419 N Buchanan St, Amarillo, Texas.

What kind of difference could it make in your child’s life to be part of something that builds confidence, discipline, and healthy strength in a safe and encouraging environment?

Join us this Sunday β€” Life Groups at 9:30 AM, Worship at 10:45 AM
