It’s time for some summer reading! ❤️🦅

Welcome to Dr. Watson!

I am so excited to join the Altamonte Elementary School family. I believe it truly “takes a village” and look forward to getting to know the community I serve.

This will be my 20th year in education, with the last 10 years as an administrator in Seminole County. I’ve served as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, coordinator of elementary curriculum, and principal. My heart and passion is working to provide equity and opportunity for all students. School should be an extension of family, where all students achieve high expectations and become well-rounded individuals.

I live in Mount Dora. My son, Ramone, is a recent high school graduate and is attending state college as a pathway to UCF. My daughter, Camryn, just graduated UCF with a degree in elementary education. My granddaughter Luciana is the terribly two-year-old light of my life.

Please know I have an open-door policy and value the input of all stakeholders. Thank you for your kindness, and I look forward to my path as an Eagle.

It's the first day of Summer BreakSpot! 🌞

Breakfast and lunch meals are FREE for children and teens 18 and under! The USDA requires meals to be eaten on site and there are no drive-thrus.
