If you’re local to Pasadena, you’ve probably seen it driving over the arroyo. You’ve wondered how to get there, be a part of the festivities: Pasadena’s Bridge Party on the historic Colorado Street Bridge.

Thousands of attendees gathered on the closed-off bridge, opened to three stages of bands, a car show, and organizations and food vendors local to Altadena. This year’s event seemed to shout “we’re here for you, Altadena” and underscored how tight knit the people in our community are. This is our home. We show up for each other when it matters. And we don’t go down without a fight.

Eaton Fire // Merely a week into 2025, wildfires destroyed huge swaths of the greater LA area - partially, MY LA area. It’s been difficult to process, to say the least. I feel like I was one of the first to see the earliest flames atop the hillside in Altadena, which brought its own sense of guilt as I saw the devastation the fire wrought in the days afterward. That night, I drove away from my childhood home wondering if I’d ever see the house or anything in it ever again. I worried, as I watched my parents drive away, where they would go - as long as it was anywhere opposite the flames whirling towards our house. My parents and house are extremely lucky: everyone and everything survived. But to go around my neighborhood, to see so much of what I knew, reduced to rubble, is heartbreaking, and that’s a vast understatement. These are just a few of the snapshots I was able to take in the aftermath. I will never forget this.

It’s a Barbie World… to Cancer Support Community’s annual fundraising gala in October, (fittingly, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month) where the Noor was packed with guests decked out in their most Barbie-esque looks 🎀 🩷

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so grateful that I get to meet and photograph so many amazing people. Between comedy shows at Amp Rehearsal and events for the papers and freelancing, I might be the busiest person some people know, but I wouldn’t change a thing.
