Learn the basics of cardboard engineering and make your own cardboard creature and creations with on Saturday, June 13, from 11am-1pm at the Bob Lucas Library!
Recreate your favorite book character, make a mini house, or shield -- fabricate something fantastic! Ages 5-12 invited to participate, no registration required.

With the renovation of our Main Library, the Altadena Library District has a few salvage items available to community members. There will be a nominal cost for professional removal of these items, as determined by the contractor. Items will only be available for pickup, and exact costs will be shared once a request has been received. Items will be dispersed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Lunch at Loma Alta Park begins MONDAY, JUNE 15.
Los Angeles County Department of Parks & Recreation will offer free lunch for children and teens (18 and younger) at upper Loma Alta Park (at the covered picnic tables) from 12–1pm Monday - Friday, beginning Monday, June 15.
In conjunction with this program, Altadena Libraries will offer learning enrichment activities at Loma Alta Park throughout the summer. Please check our online calendar for the up-to-date schedule at www.AltadenaLibrary.org/programs.

Our staff is getting the parking lot at Bob Lucas Library ready for our summer kickoff party from 1-4pm today, 6/6!
The Bob Lucas Library parking lot will be closed on Saturday, 6/6 for our Camp Summer Challenge Kickoff party. Street parking is available.
