The season is beginning! I’m excited to be participating in the Alta Art Fair on Saturday, October 17 from 11-5. Now is the best time to get your holiday shopping started. I will be there along with other amazing local artists and vendors. We’ll be at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 455 E Woodbury Rd in Altadena. Looking forward to seeing you ❤️
A quick trip to DC after NY to talk about Muse, Meta’s new AI agent, and how I’m using it to help me navigate life - business tasks, personal tasks and rebuilding our home and my business. Using an assistant allows me to continue to be creative and do the things I love. As always, grateful for the opportunity!
Still thinking about yesterday at Meta in NYC. What a whirlwind.
Meta invited 10 small business owners from around the country to spend the day at their NYC offices, and when I say the day, I mean ALL day. We sat in a room with the people who actually build Facebook and Instagram, engineers, product folks, UX designers, and more, and they genuinely wanted to hear from us.
And they listened. They asked questions. They took notes. We talked about what works, what doesn’t, what drives us crazy, and what would actually make running a small business easier.
It’s easy to forget that a company as enormous as Meta is still made up of actual humans, and yesterday I got to spend the day with a whole bunch of them who really care about small businesses like ours.
As someone rebuilding her business from the ground up after the Eaton Fire, being invited into that room and being heard meant a lot.
Meta is working on some new features designed to help small businesses work smarter, and they asked us to help shape them. More on that soon.
An amazing day with a really wonderfu group of people and 9 other super inspiring small businesses! So gratefulI to be part of it. ❤️

Just made some beautiful flower resin pendants. I really love these! The mushroom one is so dang cool. It will be hard for me not to keep them for myself ❤️

You know my heart and soul are with stamping metal but truly my heart loves all kinds of artistic mediums. My first iteration in business, way back in the 90’s, was with found items and recycled items well before it was in vogue. In 2024, I fell in love with working with resin. I didn’t think I would pick it up again but found myself drawn to it unexpectedly again. So, here we are. My pieces will all be slightly different. No two will be exactly the same. You can see them in person at the fair on June 6th at the Fraternal order of Eagles. Looking forward to seeing you all there ❤️
