These plates are inspired by a good Southern home that has a crochet blanket draped over the old rocking chair. they have handmade crocheted prints embedded into them which are highlighted by a blue that is reminiscent of an ice storm on a 90* summer afternoon. I've been a professional potter in Texas for over 10 years. These plates are safe for the microwave, dishwasher, and teenagers.

I made this bowl for the purpose of an altarpiece for the Day of the Dead celebration. The realistic face is sure to be a conversation piece at the next family gathering. This high fired hand made ceramic bowl is food safe. The main bowl is wheel thrown with a sculpted face protruding from the center.
