The Uncommon Grounds urban-agriculture initiative is transforming abandoned lots into community assets.
The Spring Street Garden aims to cultivate a space that stands apart from the brokenness that inhabits most of Aliquippa, to help the community know that beauty can in unlikely places, pointing to the restoration Christ is doing in broken communities. Making progress on the prayer labyrinth redesign!
For anyone not familiar, a prayer labyrinth is simply a place to walk and be in conversation with God. There is nothing mystical about it. It gives you the freedom to walk, to have a set aside space as you practice calming your heart and listening to His voice.
