Here are some pictures from the band trip to Disney World from May 31 - June 4. As you can see, it was a lot of fun. The kids were great and performed very well! Thank you to our boosters and parent chaperones for their help and support in making this experience a reality for our student musicians.

Wind Ensemble had their best performance at the Chicagoland Invitational Concert Band Festival today at Hersey High School. Compliments all around on WHAT they performed, HOW they performed, and most importantly, HOW THEY RESPONDED AND REACTED AS STUDENTS/PEOPLE to the clinicians. The JHS community should be proud. 📏

Took 48 of our band and orchestra students to a great Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert. Couldn’t be prouder of them as students of music and as respectful audience members.

Earlier this month 15 of our instrumental students competed in the IHSA Solo & Ensemble Contest at Harvard HS. All 15 students received a total of 19 Division I ratings, with 5 of these being perfect scores! In addition, Ben Chapman (trumpet), Kaitlyn Perry (flute) and Hanna Marszalek (violin) were honored with "Best of Day" distinctions! Congratulations to all!

It is that time once again! The Golden Eagle Marching Band will have its kick-off informational meeting on April 20 at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. This meeting is for all current and new members along with a parent or guardian. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BRING A FRIEND!
