Hello Facebook friends! It’s been a few weeks since we posted. We’d like to start by saying thank you for your continued support as we continue limited social media postings.

We want to let you know we will be closing at 4 pm today, until then we have plenty of cookies, baguettes, english muffins, sourdoughs and raspberry muffins.

Our June cover image, "Elation," was captured by Carol DeAnda, M. Photog. M. Wed. Photog. Cr., CPP of DeAnda Photography in Algonquin, Illinois. The image was taken in February outside the wedding venue in Lake Barrington, Illinois, where freezing cold temperatures added to the already high-pressure nature of a sparkler exit. To achieve the effect, a slower shutter speed was used to allow the ambient sparkler light to register, while a zoom burst technique (zooming the lens during the exposure) created the dynamic, energetic feel you see in the final image. An assistant held a Godox AD200 in a Magsphere on a Cheetah stand to light the couple and freeze the motion.
