URGENT NEED: BABY CARRIER BACKPACK

Sometimes, the smallest items make a very big difference.

S.A.F.E. House currently has an urgent need for a baby carrier backpack to help support a parent and child in our care. For victims of intimate partner domestic violence who are rebuilding safety and stability, practical items like this can make everyday life a little easier.

If you have a new or gently used baby carrier backpack you would be willing to donate, please call us anytime at (505) 247-4219.

Your generosity helps provide comfort, support, and hope when itโ€™s needed most.

DID YOU KNOW?

Intimate partner domestic violence can happen in any relationship โ€” regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

During Pride Month, itโ€™s important to recognize that LGBTQ+ individuals often experience intimate partner domestic violence at equal or higher rates than heterosexual individuals. In fact, nearly 61% of bisexual women and 44% of le***an women report experiencing intimate partner violence in their lifetime.

Everyone deserves relationships built on safety, dignity, and respect โ€” and everyone deserves access to support.

If you or someone you know needs help, S.A.F.E. House is here 24/7. Crisis Hotline: (505) 247-4219

S.A.F.E. House is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our Fundraising Committee and help support victims of intimate partner domestic violence and their families.

Fundraising Committee members play an important role in planning and supporting fundraising initiatives throughout the year. This may include assisting with special events, brainstorming creative fundraising ideas, engaging community partners, and helping strengthen donor relationships. Currently, our committee is focused on our Gala fundraising event that takes place in late September-- It's our 50th Anniversary SOCK HOP Celebration! Your ideas and assistance are much-needed!
