Checkers got his one month check up today and he is doing so much better!

When we first got him from the Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department, we really didn’t think he would be around very long but here he is proving all of us wrong.

His anemia has improved, he no longer has diarrhea, and his appetite is great. He even gained a little weight!
