Breaking my leg and ankle in 2020 changed the way I look at my body forever.
Yesterday, I hiked the La Luz Trail to the Sandia Crest—10,300 feet above sea level over nearly 8 miles. It took us almost five hours, and every step was worth it. The trail goes through sections of loose rock slides on the mountain which were especially intimidating! (Especially for people like me with past experience with ankle injuries in both legs)
The injury in 2020 taught me never to take my body for granted. Recovery wasn’t just about physical healing—it reminded me of how resilient and patient I can be. You never truly know what you’re capable of until you push through the hard moments, and that believing in yourself can carry you farther than you ever imagined.

There is no greater compliment than when someone chooses to work with me and my team again.
