We are so happy about our collaboration with .workshop - now part of the . Since last December, NMJW’s instructors Artha, Jabez, and Zach have taught Beats as well as Empowerment Through Music for our youth and the outcome is stunning. The bands learned 3-4 songs and performed them at the end of the semesters. The beats classes have produced four beats compilations you can find via our record label Bodega Records (link in bio!). We are proud of this partnership and look forward to the semesters that lie ahead of us!

Today, we would like to thank and highlight their support for our youth. In July 2025, VentureLab and NMOST helped us to start our Youth Entrepreneurship program that has been a big success! VL’s Scott and Lindly are fantastic partners: responsive, helpful, resourceful, and reliable. Our YE program is based on the VL Spark Startup Student Journals that helps our youth to identify their strengths and talents.

Since the start of the program, six cohorts have taken their creative skills to the next level towards starting their own small businesses. They created their own product lines, developed business strategies, learned about financial literacy, and sold their products at markets successfully.

We are so happy to see our youth developing their own excellence and becoming the community leaders of tomorrow! This would not be possible without our partnership with VentureLab.

Our youth entrepreneurs rocked today’s market! Amazing to see them showcase their work, apply sales skills, and chatting with people.
