Our featured artist this week is Thomas Christopher Haag. From Kansas to Oaxaca to Bangkok to ABQ, Thomas Christopher Haag has left his mark—literally—on walls around the world. Known for his layered, irreverent, and often spiritual work, Haag uses reclaimed house paint, found wood, and old books to create art that’s both sacred and smart-ass. A longtime New Mexico muralist and painter, his pieces explore myth, mischief, and meaning with a cosmic wink. Come check out his original drawings in person here at Flyby!

This weeks featured artist is Seed Pod!

Or as we know her, Kat – an illustrator, designer, and artist based in New Mexico. Originally from the Southwest, Kat has called New Mexico home since 2016. Her work is deeply inspired by the natural world and the invisible threads that connect all living things. With a background in both fine art and graphic design, she brings a thoughtful, layered perspective to everything she creates.

Kat’s art often explores our relationship with the more-than-human world—capturing moments of connection, ecology, and wonder. As both a visual storyteller and a communicator, she believes in the power of form, function, and meaningful design.
