Parents, we’re so excited for what God is doing in LKIDS this month!
Our new series Weeds to Wonders is all about helping kids understand that God can take hard, messy, and confusing situations and turn them into something good. Through stories like Ruth, Deborah, Hannah, the woman who was healed by Jesus, and Esther, your kids are learning to trust God no matter what they face.
Series Verse: Micah 7:7
“But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.”
This month, we’re teaching your kids:
God is always working—even when we can’t see it.

Week 1 – Ruth
When life feels broken, God is still working.
This week in LKIDS, we learned about Ruth and how she trusted God even when everything felt uncertain. What looked like loss and hardship, God turned into something beautiful.
Parents, take a moment to ask your kids:
“What is something you can trust God with this week?”

Behind the scenes and boots on the ground… 🤠
We’re getting everything ready for LKIDS Summer Camp—lights, cameras, cowboys.
This year, we’re teaching kids what it means to love the Lord your God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself.
They’ll make memories, meet new friends, and above all, connect with God.
It’s about to be the wildest camp yet. Giddy up! 🏜️

Thursday, May 7 at 6:30 PM – LKIDS Auditorium (Central Campus)
Sunday, May 31 at 3:00 PM – Coordinators & Captains Only Meeting (lunch provided) at Dion’s on Central & Coors
Sunday, June 7 from 3:30–6:30 PM – Shirt pick-up and assignments in Room 101 (Central Campus)
