I’m in GP getting ready to head to a LFTL lunch John Bagorio and I were having Bfast in the lobby of our hotel. On the way out I asked the gal at the front desk if she had anything I could pray for, Nesse responded with my health, I told her I would. I started walking out the door and she ran out the door to stop me and said would you also pray for my co-worker she shared Tracy’s story with me and we prayed right in front of the Best Western in GP. I STOPPED at the wrong place, just being honest, I should have given her the Gospel I didn’t but I’m hoping for another opportunity. If not seeds were planted

Some incredibly exciting news for Oregon Youth Alive. As you may know , Oregon Youth Alive has always been a High School and middle school Campus Ministry strategy. Helping start Jesus Movements on our public and private schools through resourcing Churches and students to Start Prayer movements, campus club Movements and all around Campus Missionary movements., it’s purpose Students Sharing Jesus
In 2006 I felt strongly by the Holy Spirits prompting that there would be a downturn of those going into ministry and it had been few and far between that a student called to vocational ministry, in our Oregon churches, would leave to one of our AG UNIVERSITYS and come back to Oregon to minister in our churches. If there were no Youth Pastors or Childrens Pastors there might not be Youth Alive, nor a pipeline of students going to our churches. i reached out to Vernon Cap Marks , our then Oregon Superintendent and receuved a go. The big one however was NATIONAL YOUTH ALIVE, would they allow me permission to run a hands on ministry school as a part of Oregons YA strategy to reach students, Jay Mooney and Steve Pulis or then NATIONAL YA LEADERS said yes. in 2007 we started. OREGON YOUTH ALIVE MINISTRY ACADEMY. A FEW YEARS LATER WE ADDED A 9 month discipleship program for a gap year discipleship program. In January, with the closure of NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY OREGON, we will become a NPP program to NW Kirkland campus, DAIMIAN and Brittany will be charged with that duty, as well as running OYAMA. THIS NPP WILL BE A PLACE FOR STUDENTS TO GATHER IN COMMUNITY AND DO CLASSES. Thanks Daimian Dunn and Brittany Dunn for adding this to your already busy lives thanks for loving youth alive, thanks for loving OYAMA and thanks for loving our Oregon churches. All 3 of last year grads went to Rural Oregon churches to Pastor Children and/or Teens. This will give an opportunity for all of those that attended classes at NUO to continue to gather in Community.
Along with the above additions, Daimian and Brittany are MISSIONARY ASSOCIATES with OREGON YOUTH ALIVE and with changes in US MISSIONS are now tasked to raise a full budget from Family and Friends, they are not permitted to itinerate in churches.
