Our featured artists for the month of June, glass artists Steve Terhune and Carol Houk, have had a familiarity with each other’s work for years, since they are partners not just in employing a millenia-old art form, but also in life. Here’s a look at some of their work. You can meet Steve and Carol at the artist reception on Friday, June 5, 6-8 p.m.

One way or another, most of our artists ‘deal’ in flowers, not only in paintings but also in works of glass, wood and fabric as well as jewelry and ceramics. You have many ways to take home a bouquet.

Our next featured artists will be our glass workers, Carol Houk and Steve Terhune (gallerycalapooia.com/artwork/glasswork). You can meet them at the First Friday Reception on June 5 and view their work from May 26 to June 27.

Our featured artist show highlighting our mixed media artists Koka Filipovic and Bill Marshall will continue through May 23. Stop by to see their work! We’re now open on Sundays 10-2, in addition to Tuesday-Friday 11-6 and Saturday 10-5.

Many of our artists have notecards available of their work. Some are prints of originals, some are original one-of-a-kind cards. They’re nice gifts of art for a very reasonable price. Check out our wall of cards or look for cards in the displays of individual artists.
