Asher started racing outlaw karts in April of 2021. Follow along to watch his journey while he navigates this fun sport!

Asher got called for stopping on the track and was made to leave after avoiding karts going around a spin. Curious on everyone’s opinion, should he have been given a caution for this? Or was he ok since his tires never stopped?

Asher drove hard today and went from the C to the B mains. He was in a transfer spot for the A main when another kart spun out causing a pileup and he had nowhere to go. It caused him to slow down and they called him for the caution. A bummer (and wrong) call but what can we do. We absolutely couldn’t have asked for him to drive any differently today and come back from yesterday. He ended up 18th out of 29 overall. For being one of the youngest 250 drivers we are super proud of how much he’s learned an grow as a driver this year. Next year will be a fun and hopefully winning year for him!

It’s always nice when one of your sponsors takes time to come to a race, especially a long 4 day race. Sunriver Glass and Mirror may be family but we are so thankful for their support and cheering Asher on in person. To all our other sponsors, you are SO appreciated! Thank you for supporting our boy and giving him the gear and kart he needs to succeed.

B main.

C Main. Top 6 transfer.

03/22/2026

Rolling out 5th in the C but ready to do some work and actually finish a race today! 🤪 Yesterday is behind us and Asher is pumped for the final day of WCN.

03/22/2026

Quick recap. Started the heat in 6th and to avoid a kart spinning in front of him Asher got a little sideways before being taken out by the kart behind him. Bummer deal but that’s racing. He started again had no room to avoid another kart that spun in front of him.

We got the kart all ready to go do the B and as he went onto the track a bolt stripped out from the front block and ended his day.

Barely any points earned today and he’s bottom of the barrel sitting 25th of 29 for points but he’s going to come back and give it his all in the B tomorrow.

Heat 1. Top 3 transfer.

Asher is sitting 15th of 29 in points as we go into day 3 of West Coast Nationals. He’s feeling good about today even with a super stacked heat where he’ll start 6th. We’re looking at a tougher day today but he’s ready to give it his all! Luck down here makes up 75% of your day, so you never know what’s going to happen. 🥳

A main recap: Asher was doing AMAZING. He went from 12th to 9th in a hurry and was dodging wrecks and racing smart until his radiator blew and sprayed hot water all over him. I’ve never seen him get out of his kart so fast! He said he was unbuckled on the straight away and threw his wheel out right in the infield. He also had no front brakes the whole race. He’s burned on his knees but he’s ok. He ended up taking 15th overall (out of 28 kids) today and we are SO proud of how well he raced today. Tomorrow’s another race where we have to come from the back but we have forward momentum and a good outlook.

Congrats to our buddy Kael on taking 5th after being sent to the back. He had an amazing race!

(Bad ending to the video because this mom was in panic mode 🤪)

Yesterday Asher had a pretty frustrating qualifying day. He qualified 26 of 28 for today and 23 of 28 for Saturday. Coming in today he started last in his heat of 7. Only the top 3 transferred. We told him to send it hard and do his best.

Here’s the heat to set up the mains today. Top 3 transfer and the rest go to the B based of qualifying, which isn’t good for us.

We’re here in Red Bluff for the 2026 West Coast Nationals! Qualifying for Friday and Saturday happened here shortly and then racing Friday-Sunday. We’ll be posting updates right here!
